Welcome to VivaScoop, your monthly rundown on everything Vivacity Technologies.
First and foremost, thank you kindly to our new subscribers! We truly hope you enjoy our monthly updates and company highlights.
In this edition of VivaScoop, we want to take some time to celebrate both the small and big wins as an organization. All too often, we're "nose to the grindstone", but it's so important to recognize the phenomenal work of our team and everything we've accomplished together. As such, this VivaScoop is a little nod to the wonderful VivaTeam!

Vivacity Wins in the Best of Kamloops 2025 and Nominated for the 39th Annual Business Excellence Awards
We are proud to share that Vivacity Technologies has been recognized in the 2025 Best of Kamloops Awards. We are taking home two Silver and one Bronze awards this year for the following categories:
Silver - Best Tech Startup
Silver - Best Software Developer
Bronze - Best Technology Company
This recognition is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and commitment that our team brings to every project, and to the support we continue to receive from the local business community in Kamloops.
In addition, we are thrilled to share that Vivacity has been nominated for two Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce 2025 Business Excellence Awards:
The Innovation Award; and
The Inclusive Leadership Award.
We are extremely proud of our teams thoughtful innovation, while building a workplace where inclusion is an everyday practice. It is an honor to be recognized alongside so many incredible local organizations that are making a difference in the community.
As such, a big thank you to the VivaTeam, our clients, and everyone that has been part of the Vivacity journey.
Volunteering in Action - Kicking off Our Workshop Series with Kamloops Immigrant Services
This summer, Vivacity Technologies is proud to support a new community initiative in partnership with Kamloops Immigrant Services (KIS). Our volunteer efforts consist of a six-part Google Workshop series that is tailored to help newcomers build digital literacy and confidence in using modern workplace tools.
This initiative is led by our Business and Marketing Analyst, Cassandra Roberge, and the workshops will run from July to October with each session co-presented by a member of the VivaTeam.
Together, we will be walking participants through topics that range from Gmail to Google Gemini, and everything in between. We feel it is a great way to share our skills, give back, and support a stronger community.
Inaugural Vivacity Summer Games 2025
This June, the Vivacity team stepped out of the office and into a competitive afternoon at Riverside Park for our very first Vivacity Summer Games.
We formed three teams: Pink Panthers, SJP, and Public Static Void. Team members participated in a range of activities like team trivia, blindfolded puzzle races, balloon races, heads up, and more. After nine rounds of competitive challenges, the winning team took home the inaugural Vivacity Cup.
These moments not only strengthen our team dynamic but also remind us how valuable it is to build relationships beyond the workplace. They also serve to remind us that sometimes a little friendly competition among the team can be healthy!
A Final Shoutout to the Awesome VivaTeam!
The last few months saw a lot of progress on our side, but also brought about several challenges. These challenges included navigating changes in the team, competing priorities, and the many other mountains young companies must overcome. It goes without saying (but I'm going to say it anyway) that none of our progress would be possible without an incredible group of people coming together towards some common goals.
Reflecting on this, I want to take the opportunity to shout out the amazing VivaTeam for all their hard work. Without each and every one of you, we wouldn't be where we are today - delivering on projects, providing best in class support, and building the next stage of VivaCitadel to positively impact communities in Canada and beyond.
So while our mission may occasionally put us in the trenches, I am extremely lucky to have such awesome people to share this journey with. So to each of you, a sincere thank you - you rock!!
