Welcome to VivaScoop, your monthly rundown on everything Vivacity Technologies.

Each month, we share progress reports and key highlights from across the organization. In this edition of VivaScoop, we are excited to feature the following developments: welcoming the City of Saskatoon as our latest VivaCitadel FOI partner, finishing the City of Nelson IT Assessment, our upcoming presence at the LGMA 2026 Annual Conference, and a sincere farewell to Stefano Stamato, who departed Vivacity in May.

Without further ado, herewith VivaScoop May!

The City of Saskatoon is deploying VivaCitadel FOI!

This month marked an exciting milestone for Vivacity as we officially welcomed the City of Saskatoon as our newest partner for the deployment of VivaCitadel FOI.

For me, this partnership represents more than just another implementation; it’s an important step in ensuring VivaCitadel continues to grow alongside municipalities that are looking to modernize how FOI requests are managed.

VivaCitadel FOI was built to help legislative teams streamline intake, processing, and response workflows through a secure, AI-enabled environment. Seeing municipalities embrace this shift toward more efficient and transparent public service delivery continues to reinforce the importance of the work we’re doing.

I’m especially grateful to the City of Saskatoon for their trust and willingness to partner with us as we continue expanding across Canada. It’s exciting to see the momentum building around VivaCitadel and the opportunity to support more municipalities in modernizing their information access processes.

Completed the City of Nelson IT Assessment

We officially completed our Information Management and Strategy Assessment project with the City of Nelson.

Over the course of the project, we worked closely with City staff to assess key areas, including IT security and privacy, operations, applications, information management, and infrastructure. Through stakeholder engagement, current-state analysis, and a detailed gap assessment, we developed a set of prioritized initiatives to support the City’s long-term goals.

The final roadmap outlines practical next steps, required resources, and expected outcomes, creating a clear path forward to modernize systems, strengthen service delivery, and better align technology with the City’s evolving needs.

What stood out throughout this project was the level of collaboration and engagement from the Nelson team. Their openness and feedback helped shape a roadmap grounded not only in best practices but in the realities and priorities of the organization.

Heading to LGMA 2026

This June, the VivaTeam will once again be attending the LGMA Annual Conference 2026 from June 9 -11. LGMA continues to be one of the most valuable opportunities for us to connect with municipal leaders, legislative professionals, and partners from across British Columbia.

This year, we’ll be showcasing the continued evolution of VivaCitadel FOI and sharing how municipalities are using the platform to modernize and streamline their FOI processes. We’re especially excited to continue conversations around AI-powered redaction, workflow efficiency, and improving the experience for legislative teams.

We’re also proud to have featured our VivaCitadel FOI solution advertisement in the Spring edition of the LGMA Exchange Magazine. It’s exciting to see VivaCitadel FOI continue gaining visibility within the local government community as the platform grows and evolves.

If you’re attending LGMA this year, we’d love to connect with you!

A Massive Thank You to Stefano

One of the hardest parts of building a company is saying goodbye to people who have helped shape it along the way. Last month, Stefano departed the VivaTeam after four years of contributing not only his technical knowledge, but also his ideas, perspective, and energy to the organization.

Over the years, Stefano played a key role in many of the conversations and decisions that helped move our products and services forward. He always brought a thoughtful approach to problem-solving and wasn’t afraid to challenge ideas in a way that ultimately made the work stronger.

Beyond the technical side, Stefano became an important part of the team culture. His humour, curiosity, and willingness to jump into challenges made a lasting impact on the people around him.

While we’re sad to see him go, I’m incredibly grateful for everything he contributed during his time here.

Stefano, thank you for being part of our journey and for helping build the foundation we continue to grow on today. We’ll miss you, and I’m excited to see where your next adventure takes you.
