We’re excited to welcome Leena, our Executive Assistant supporting our Founder & CEO, to the Vivacity team!

With a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Thompson Rivers University and as a current CPHR Candidate, Leena brings a strong mix of leadership, people operations, and organizational experience. Her career journey has been anything but conventional, taking her from Electronics & Communication Engineering to becoming the Head of HR for a fast-growing technology firm, where she supported more than 350 employees, led a team of HR professionals, and worked closely with C-level leadership.

Having built her career across both India and Canada, Leena brings a broad perspective on people, workplace culture, communication, and employee experience. A true people-first professional, she is passionate about creating workplaces that feel organized, supportive, and genuinely human. She enjoys fast-moving environments where people, priorities, and processes all come together, and has a natural ability to bring structure to busy situations while helping people feel included and supported along the way.

Outside of work, Leena is a fun-loving storyteller with a serious adventurous side. As a former volunteer Travel Instructor, she used to lead mountain treks and still loves hiking, road trips, travelling, cooking, sci-fi movies, and mythology. She is also quite spiritual and enjoys exploring stories, traditions, and the deeper meaning behind everyday experiences.

A few fun facts about Leena: she loves a good plan, but is equally comfortable when that plan changes five minutes later; she can happily jump from HR strategy to mythology to hiking recommendations in the same conversation; and if you ask her about one of her trekking trips, you are almost definitely getting the full “director’s cut” version. Friends and colleagues often say that being around her feels a little like being at home, which probably comes from her natural way of making people feel comfortable, included, and part of the conversation.

We’re thrilled to have Leena on board and can’t wait to see the energy, structure, and people-first perspective she brings as Vivacity continues to grow. Connect with her on LinkedIn if you’d like to say hello.
