Vivacity Technologies Launches VivaCitadel FOI Solution with the City of Prince George

March 24th, 2026, Kamloops, BC - Vivacity Technologies is proud to announce the official launch of VivaCitadel FOI, its next-generation Freedom of Information (FOI) platform designed to support municipalities in managing information requests with greater efficiency, transparency, and legislative confidence.


VivaCitadel FOI introduces a secure, centralized system for FOI request intake, workflow management, document handling, and reporting. Built in close collaboration with municipal legislative teams, the platform is designed to support consistent processes, defensible records management, and improved operational efficiency, while aligning with legislative requirements.


“From a legislative administration standpoint, having a system that supports structured intake, clear tracking, and defensible records management is critical,” said Ethan Anderson, Manager of Legislative Services with the City of Prince George’s legislative services team. “We are excited to begin using VivaCitadel FOI in a live environment and to see how the platform can streamline day-to-day FOI work while supporting our legislative obligations.”


As part of the launch, Vivacity Technologies has been working closely with the City of Prince George to onboard their legislative staff. This includes scheduled training sessions, provisioning access to the City’s dedicated VivaCitadel FOI instance, and securely sharing the credentials required for staff to begin using the platform.

Following the launch, the VivaTeam will work closely with City staff to gather feedback and further refine the platform, continuing to iterate and refine the platform,  ensuring the VivaCitadel meets municipal standards for security, reliability, and legislative compliance.


Further updates will be shared as VivaCitadel progresses through testing and into wider deployment.
