Welcome to VivaScoop, your monthly rundown on everything Vivacity Technologies.
Thanks for tuning in and I hope you're all having a wonderful summer. Things have been heating up for Vivacity over the last month, both figuratively and literally!
While we've been enjoying some warmer weeks, the VivaTeam have been taking on some truly exciting projects, while also adding two new members to the team! In addition, we're ramping up for our largest yearly conference (MISA BC), with some game-changing announcements on the way.
Given the above, herewith VivaScoop July.

Welcoming Max & Fernando to the VivaTeam
This month, the VivaTeam is thrilled to welcome Max Kuzmenko and Fernando Ferrufino to the Vivacity Technologies team!
Fernando joins our Dev Team while finishing up a Bachelor of Computing Science at Thompson Rivers University. With experience as a System Analyst Intern, Teaching Assistant, and Azure Platform Enablement contributor, Fernando has already built a strong foundation in the tech world. His customer-first approach and commitment to continuous improvement make him a fantastic fit for our team.
Max meanwhile brings over three years of software development in the aviation industry and a Bachelor’s in Computing Science from TRU. He’s worked on mission-critical avionics systems, developing embedded and desktop software that meets demanding real-time and regulatory standards. Known for his precision and accountability, Max brings a level of technical depth that will support and elevate our software development efforts.
Please join us in giving Max and Fernando a warm welcome. The team and I are excited to see what we’ll accomplish together!

Pitt Meadows Goes Live with VivaCitadel PIR Platform
We’re excited to announce that the City of Pitt Meadows is officially live with VivaCitadel’s Property Information Request (PIR) platform marking another important milestone in our mission to make municipal services more efficient, accessible, and citizen-focused.
This go-live follows several weeks of collaboration between Vivacity Technologies and Pitt Meadows’ internal teams, working together to tailor the platform to the City’s specific needs and integrate it seamlessly with existing workflows.
This launch not only supports the City’s goals around transparency and digital transformation, but also reflects the growing adoption of VivaCitadel among municipalities looking to modernize how they deliver public information services.
A big thank you to the team at Pitt Meadows for their partnership. We're proud to support your journey toward smarter, more streamlined citizen services.

Finalists for the 2025 Kamloops Business Excellence Awards
In 2024, Vivacity Technologies was lucky enough to be awarded the Emerging Business of the Year and Business of Year for the Kamloops Business Excellence Awards, presented by the Kamloops and District Chamber of Commerce. This year we’re delighted to announce we’re finalists for two different categories, namely:
The Inclusive Leadership Award – presented by Open Door Group.
The Innovation Award – presented by BCLC
These nominations mean a huge amount to us, as we’ve worked incredibly hard to build a workplace rooted in inclusive practices, while pushing the boundaries of innovation in the public sector. Being recognized in the community, amongst some truly phenomenal organizations, is an honour and a sign we’re headed in the right direction.
Congratulations to all the finalists, and thank you to the Kamloops Chamber for this opportunity to celebrate business excellence in our community!
