Meet Angie Poveda

We’re thrilled to welcome Angie Poveda to the Vivacity Technologies family! Angie is stepping into the role of Business and Marketing Assistant, bringing with her a passion for innovation, social impact, and a bold spirit for creating meaningful change.

A recent graduate from Thompson Rivers University, Angie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and served as an awarded President of Enactus TRU for the 2024–2025 term. In which she received the Enactus Community Impact Award . During her time leading the Enactus team, she spearheaded multiple community-based ventures , most notably Tohoo, a social startup addressing the student housing crisis through a platform built on trust, community, and trade-based rental options.

Angie is also the founder of Markenix, a business development firm that helps emerging ventures scale through strategic branding, digital outreach, and customer-centered growth. Through Markenix, she’s worked with startups and social enterprises to craft compelling stories and go-to-market strategies that drive real results.

Beyond her academic and entrepreneurial achievements, Angie is also the co-founder of Bright Future Consulting, a company she launched with her mom to help Panamanian students access affordable, high-quality education opportunities abroad. Her work reflects a deeper commitment to inclusion, integrity, and creating access for those often left out of traditional systems.

When she’s not developing marketing strategies or collaborating on innovative projects, you’ll probably find Angie outdoors:  mountain biking, hiking, or enjoying peaceful walks with her family and dog Ollie. She thrives on friendly competition, especially when it comes to winning board games with friends. 

Fun fact: she was named after the iconic Rolling Stones song “Angie,” which turned her into a fan from birth.
