Welcome to VivaScoop, your monthly rundown on everything Vivacity Technologies.
It was Labour Day weekend here, so hence the slight delay in sending out our VivaScoop update. Thanks for tuning in though and staying up-to-date on our progress, its been another exciting month
August saw us launch our new direction for Vivacity's IT consulting services, where we hone in on IT project management, assessments and feasibility studies. Our website has also had a beautiful makeover to coincide with this direction. In addition, we've been preparing for our largest conference of the year (MISA BC), so all hands on deck getting us ready.
For further details, herewith VivaScoop August.

Vivacity's New IT Consulting Direction
At Vivacity, our mission has always been clear: help organizations harness technology in ways that create real impact. Over time, we’ve explored many different paths, but the past few months have given us the opportunity to reflect on where we provide the most value to our clients.
With that in mind, we are narrowing our focus to strengthen the quality of service we deliver. Vivacity will be centering our work around three core pillars of
IT Consulting:
Project Management: providing structure and accountability to ensure projects are completed efficiently and successfully.
IT Consulting: advising on infrastructure, systems, and security so technology supports, rather than hinders, operations.
Business Strategy for IT: helping organizations align technology decisions with long-term growth and sustainability goals.
This evolution reflects what many of our partners have asked for: more hands-on support to plan, execute, and sustain technology that truly makes a difference. Whether it’s improving workflows, strengthening cybersecurity, or shaping IT strategies for the future, our goal is the same to act as a trusted partner in building smarter, more resilient organizations.

Going Gold at MISA BC
Summer is closing out but Vivacity Technologies is going big at MISA BC. We will be joining IT and municipal leaders from across the province at the MISA BC 2025 Conference in Victoria and we’re proud to be attending as a Gold Sponsor.
MISA BC is one of the most important gatherings for municipal innovation in British Columbia, bringing together professionals, vendors, and thought leaders to share ideas and showcase solutions that make local governments stronger. For us, it’s a chance to highlight the impact of VivaCitadel, connect with municipal partners, and learn from the incredible work happening in communities across the province.
Being a Gold Sponsor reflects more than just our presence at the event, it’s a commitment to supporting the municipal IT community. We encourage collaboration, in knowledge-sharing, and in helping to equip municipalities with the tools and strategies they need to thrive in a digital world.
We look forward to connecting with everyone at the conference, sharing our journey, and celebrating the innovation that makes BC municipalities leaders in digital service delivery.

Vivacity Joins the Kamloops & District Local Immigration Partnership (LIP)
We’re excited to share that Vivacity Technologies, represented by our Director of People & Projects Dr. Premie Naicker, will now be part of the Kamloops & District Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) Council.
The LIP brings together a diverse group of stakeholders from government, non-profits, business, healthcare, and education to strengthen newcomer integration and build a more inclusive, welcoming community. Its focus is on collaboration, equity, and evidence-based action to support immigrants and refugees in our region.
By joining this council, Vivacity is proud to contribute to the collective effort of making Kamloops a more inclusive place to live and work. For us, it’s an opportunity to bring our perspective as a local firm and employer, while also learning from the many voices around the table.

Exciting News for the VivaTeam
We love sharing what’s happening behind the scenes at Vivacity, and this month brings some especially exciting updates!
First, a big congratulations to Cassandra Roberge, who has been promoted to Manager of Consulting and Projects. Cassandra has grown tremendously with Vivacity, and we’re confident she will continue to excel and guide our team towards even greater success.
We’re also thrilled to see our newest team members, Max and Fernando, settling in and already making an impact with their skills and enthusiasm.
And last but certainly not least, we’re happy to announce that Angie Poveda, our Marketing and Business Assistant, has successfully completed her internship and will be transitioning into a permanent role with the VivaTeam.
These milestones are a reminder of the incredible people behind Vivacity. As our team continues to grow, so does our ability to deliver even stronger services to our partners and clients.!
