Welcome to VivaScoop, your monthly rundown on everything Vivacity Technologies.
February brought some great advancements at Vivacity, notably the launch of our new VivaCitadel use case for managing Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. We also had the privilege of supported client community events and prioritized some team downtime. Unfortunately, we also recently said goodbye to Premie Naicker. Premie departed after two years of incredible support for Vivacity. There's a lot to go through, but without further ado, herewith VivaScoop February!
VivaCitadel FOI: From Concept to Solution
The VivaTeam is excited to announce that our VivaCitadel Freedom of Information (FOI) request platform is now officially live. This is a massive milestone for our team, and I’m truly amazed by what the team has accomplished, along with the phenomenal support from our clients.
VivaCitadel FOI was built as an all-in-one solution, designed to support the full lifecycle of a Freedom of Information request. From the initial intake form to secure payment processing, along with AI-powered redaction and deduplication.
Our goal has always been simple: reduce complexity for legislative teams while strengthening transparency and consistency. And now seeing the platform operate as a live solution has been incredibly rewarding.
To give you a closer look, we’re excited to share a demo video of VivaCitadel FOI in action. I invite you to explore it and see firsthand how the platform supports modern, efficient FOI processing.
A Thank You to Premie
This month, we unfortunately said goodbye to Premie Naicker, who has had a profound impact on Vivacity Technologies over the past two years. Premie has been more than a leader here; she has been a force of change.
From the early days of shaping our organizational structure to defining and embedding our core values, Premie helped build the culture we see today, a workplace where we genuinely care for our people and believe that supporting our team is foundational to delivering great work. That mindset is now part of who we are, and she played a central role in putting it in place.
While we’re certainly sad to see her move on, we’re deeply grateful for everything she helped us accomplish, and everything we will continue to accomplish because of the strong foundation she leaves behind.
Premie, thank you for your leadership, your passion, and your commitment to building something meaningful here!! We can’t wait to see what you do next.
SRG Community Showcase & Dinner
On February 26th, we had the opportunity to attend a wonderful community event hosted by Simpcw Resources Group (SRG). The event brought Simpcw community members together to learn more about the work happening across SRG’s departments and the services they provide.
Each department was set up to share information, answer questions, and connect directly with the community. It was a great way to highlight the breadth of initiatives underway and to create transparency around how SRG supports Simpcw’s growth and development.
In addition, during the event, we worked with the SRG IT team to showcase the use of AR/VR tools that are starting to deeply shape how we work and can train our teams.
It was encouraging to see the level of participation and pride across the organization. SRG continues to demonstrate strong leadership and a clear commitment to serving the community and region.
First Team Building Activity for 2026
In February, we also kicked off the quarter with our first team-building session. After a strong start to the year and some major milestones behind us, it felt right to pause and reconnect.
This time, we kept it simple with board games, conversation, and a bit of friendly competition. There’s something about gathering around a table that brings out different strengths, strategies, and quick thinking. We played games like Wavelength, Hues and Clues, and even included a few online games so our remote team members could join in the fun.
What I value the most about these sessions is the chance to connect with team members on a personal level. It reinforces trust, strengthens communication, and reminds us that our culture is built just as much outside projects as within them.

Help!!
Please spread the word on what we do and who we are. It's simple, but massively beneficial for Vivacity.
Thank you so much for tuning in and don't hesitate to reach out to the Viva team with any thoughts or questions.
